Interesting example of an installation using textiles to create divisions of space. Using voile, cotton an cheese cloth to which have different variations of transparency’s can create a division within an open space. In this case the space was to exhibit the works of Dutch and international artists to which the concept of shipping containers were to encase each individual works. They also were symbolic of Rotterdam’s port to which the variating texiles gave off the allure of a fog-filled harbour.
